We are pleased to work with your schedule to coordinate a date that works best for you and your dining companions. Depending on which chef experience you choose, you will be able to book immediately online or in the case of Chef Vikram Vij, once you have purchased your With The Chef voucher, let us know your top three dates and we will coordinate with his schedule and in most cases provide you with a confirmed date within 48 hours.



Although each chef offers an experience that is unique to their style of cuisine and personal story you can count on a multi-course chef-selected tasting menu. You will absolutely leave the evening with full bellies!

In some cases there are optional wine pairings, cocktail or bubbly. Should you choose an experience where drinks are included with your meal, we always extend the option of alternative beverages for those who are sober-curious.

In addition to the food, guests can count on hearing the stories behind the chef, the recipes and ingredients and countries of origin. Some chefs offer a look behind the scenes of the restaurant with the experience.

We factor in a generous gratuity so it is not necessary. If you receive extraordinary service, we highly encourage that you acknowledge the staff accordingly. 

We are proud to offer a plant-based experience where guests can ask the chef about preparation tips and making the transition to plant-based or simply integrating a few plant-based options. This experience is offered at Down2Earth Plant Parlour in Langley, BC.

We suggest that you put aside approximately 2.5 hours for these dining experiences. 

Depending upon which Chef experience you choose you may be with a group of up to eight other guests:

*Chef Miheer at Curryish Tavern

*Chef Alysa at Down2Earth Plant Parlour

With Chef Vikram you will be seated at your own table during dinner at Vij’s. You may be on the tour of the restaurant prior to your dinner with the rest of the diners (usually a maximum of 10) and then you may all gather for chai, dessert and chat after dinner.

We make all of the experiences as intimate as possible.
