Who is Chef Alysa Ferguson?

Chef Alysa Ferguson is the creator of Down2Earth Plant Parlour. She created a family-owned plant-based restaurant in Langley, B.C. She is proud to be a part of the beautiful Walnut Grove community, delivering playful plant-based meals that are lovingly designed in-house and in-season by her and other culinary experts. She serves only the freshest ingredients from the community, each dish a comforting embrace of a healthy and nourishing vegan lifestyle.

  • FEASTING on Chef Ferguson’s all-inclusive plant-based tasting menu, complete with a cocktail crafted especially for this event, made from locally-made spirits.
  • HEARING the story of Chef Alysa’s own journey to a plant-based lifestyle during exclusive one-on-one time with her. This vibrant, personable chef also tours you around the restaurant and explains the reasoning behind its design details.
  • DISCOVERING that diners don’t have to sacrafice variety, flavour or nourishment when it comes to eating vegan.
  • LEARNING valuable tips for preparation, sourcing ingredients, adjusting recipes and more, whether you want to fully transition your diet or just incorporate more plant-based meals into your week. You’ll have lots of time to ask the chef questions about plant-based living.
  • LINGERING over multiple dishes with a nod to Chef Alysa’s Italian heritage, as you murmur “I can’t believe it’s vegan!”

Plan on about 2.5 hour experience

If there are other ‘With the Chef’ guests the night of the booking, guests may be seated as a group at a family-style long table.
